Returning for her second solo show at Ealain Gallery, Dot Walker’s exhibition of new works has been inspired by her Summer visits to Skye and Lismore where it has been, at times, rather wet. That said the inclement weather has created atmospheric skies and depths of colour characteristic of the Scottish landscape which only serves
to remind us that sometimes, just sometimes, the rain can be an important part of the beauty of Scotland.

Currently showing until the 10th of September 2011 is our mixed Summer show, which includes paintings by many of our regular gallery artists.

An example is this stunning painting, "Shadow", by Huw Williams which has pride of place in the gallery, at 4 x 5ft it takes up little wall space! Huw’s work benefits from being viewed in situ to appreciate the power of his work on canvas.

New works have also just arrived from two of our gallery’s favourite artists Gordon Wilson and Philip Raskin. Both artists’ work sells out quickly so it’s worth thinking about a visit to Ealain Gallery soon!
